Steve has over 21 years of commercial real estate experience. His emphases are retail and investment with a focus on development, landlord and tenant representation. He has partnered with numerous clients in Kansas City and manages multi-market accounts throughout the nation.
Steve started his career at Rubenstein Real Estate, where he spent seven years. He then served as the Vice President of Retail Services at Grubb&Ellis/The Winbury Group for eight years. He spent three years at Block and Company prior to forming the Gasperi Group.
Extensive experience in multi-market development and acquisition have led to opportunities to work with large, national companies. Still, he enjoys working with local business owners and is known for providing full service with a personal touch. His accomplishments include the leasing of over 2,000,000 square feet of retail space throughout the Midwest with a value of over $250 million.
Steve is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He holds real estate licenses in Missouri and Kansas.

Steve lives in Leawood with his wife Kelley and children Molly, Joey and Nick.
Jenna began her 40-year career in commercial real estate by joining Kroh Brothers Development Company in 1974. Since Kroh Brothers, Jenna has experienced several mergers and acquisitions throughout her career with Cohen-Esrey, Capital Realty and Jones Lang LaSalle. Jenna has experience in every phase of commercial
real estate including marketing, property management, research and brokerage support.
Although she officially “retired” in mid-2014, Jenna joined the Gasperi Group in August 2014, bringing with her an in-depth understanding of commercial real estate. Jenna oversees the inner-working of the operations budget, coordinates marketing materials, organizes and tracks leads, conducts research, and develops marketing flyers and email blast campaigns.

A native of South Dakota, Jenna has been in the Kansas City area for more than 45 years.
After attending the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Barnhill worked with the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Hallmark Crown Center Complex. For 40 years, Joe’s responsibilities have included: administration and production of collateral materials, cooperative advertising programs, development of trade and point-of-sale displays, identification of new sales distribution channels, production of national television commercials, and formal presentation to The New York Society of Security Analysts on Wall Street. Barnhill has produced mail order catalogs for such companies as Bass Pro Shops and ESPRIT Sportswear.
In 1990, Joe produced video segments for President Ronald Reagan, which aired in place of his personal appearances.
Most recently, Joe produced the season tickets for the Kansas City Royals from the data management to printing and the secure delivery of the tickets to the United States Postal Service.
In 2012, Joe started Mojo Mobile Media, Inc. to provide affordable mobile app development for small to medium-size businesses.
Currently, Joe is working with Gasperi Commercial Real Estate Group by providing them, and their clients, with the most effective and latest technological resources to maintain and grow market awareness.
Joe is a member of AMVETS Post 181, The Smithville Chamber of Commerce and The Kansas City Optimist Club.
